Rates
Contracted “Daily Rate” Retainer
- Daily Rate- $1,320 per 8 hours, Minimum of one day
- Per Month- Minimum, 3 Days / Maximum 10 days
- Per Year- Minimum, 6 months / Maximum one (1) year
- Final quoted rates depend on contract length
- All rates will be charged customary & usual per deem and travel expenses
Hourly Rate- $165 per hour, after “Daily Rate” expires…
Research & Development: Match Gold Standard formulation (Within +/- tolerance) for plant scale-up or pilot plant test- Priced per project or SKU
Culinary/Manufacturing/Operations assessments- Priced per project @ contract rates
Restaurant menu/concept- Priced per project @ contract rates
Culinary group ideation session, One day
- $5,000- Corporate team building, according to group/input needed
- $1,100- Single Chef or scientist participant
CLT/Consumer research-
- $5,000 + Depending on clients needs. Does not include facility rental, meals, postage, etc.
- Qualitative – Focus group facilitation, follow-up results, target direction suggested
- Quantitative – (CLT) Central location tests, on-line questionnaires, follow-up, course of action steps, results analysis

SKU Gold Standard formulation (From ideation to creation)
- $1,320- Per SKU, Signature SKU formula, using specified ingredients (Not commercialized)
- “A SKU” is defined as: one type of product, one flavor profile
- A total of 3 flavor varieties for each SKU will be submitted - For example: A mango spring roll is considered one SKU, a teriyaki flavored spring roll is considered a second SKU, even though it is still a spring roll
Commercialization / Pilot Plant Test Run-When under contract
- $1,320 per day (8 A.M.-5 P.M) contract rate
- $1,750 per day, (8 A.M.-5 P.M) non-contract rate
- Does not include travel to plant, lodging, pilot plant rental charge or ingredients, packaging, etc.
Trade Show Representation
- $800 - $1,500 per day (Depending on show & contract length) Client provides transportation, lodging, per diem, set-up, break down, equipment, marketing materials, chef jackets, ingredients and/or samples
Food styling and photography-
- $600-$1,200 per day, per person; Chef, stylist and photographer; Booked on half day/full day
Travel Expenses-
- All travel expenses will be pre-paid using client corporate credit card
- Hotel- Marriot or Hilton flag accommodations (Average’s $125-$250 per night)
- Customary and usual expenses will be paid with a 75% deposit;
- Remaining balance @ 14 day billing terms.
- Fee’s included but are not limited to: Lodging, airfare, car rental, mileage and per deem.
- Per Deem- USA @ $75 per day, International @ $150 (Includes Canada)
- Travel day Fee’s (Non-Contract)
Mileage Guide
- 1-100 miles (Local) – Mileage, plus $100 per hour/ Car Mileage .585 per mile
- 101-300 miles, mileage, plus $250 per day
- 301+ miles, plane flight and $500 per day
- International- plane flight and $750 per day
